Join us for the LAST Harvest Family Jam of 2024 as we celebrate the FINAL harvest season of the year! You wont want to miss this unique market opportunity and concert event hosted right here at Buckland Farms. We will have all sorts of fun and games for all ages. Bring the whole family, all your friends and even the fur babies on a leash! This Jam will highlight the best of Novembers beautiful bounty of harvest season by showcasing many of your favorite winter treats!
The cookers will be on full blast all day long preparing fresh seasonal harvests local style for our inaugural “Surf & Turf” Charles City style including:
*Whole hogs
*Boston butts
*Bacon smothered Rockfish
*Oysters by the dozens
Buckland Flowers & Produce will have their winter crops freshly harvested out for sale.
Live music will be played by the one and only Cole Coleman! He is our amazing featured musician who has been with us for each and every Harvest Family Jam event this year! Big shout out to Cole for starting this adventure with us and sticking beside us the entire year! Please come check him out before he gets too famous to be here for all our events, it’s only a matter of time now!

The Charles City Volunteer Fire Department will be here manning a nice, big, warm bonfire for everyone to keep warm! (Yes, the firefighters enjoy a nice controlled fire too from time to time instead of just having to put them out all the time!)
Bring a chair or a blanket and come hang out on the lawn with us while we celebrate all that the winter season has to offer us!

The Bees & Berries Festival was an event to remember, even with last weekend's rainy weather. The turnout was impressive! Friends, neighbors, supporters, and families came together, donning rain boots and coats. It was a testament to the community's resilience and enthusiasm.
The success of the festival was also due to the hard work of numerous other vendors, and volunteers. Their efforts in preparation and their dedication on the day truly made a difference. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, they helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that attendees thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and made the Bees & Berries Festival a memorable occasion. Your support and enthusiasm ensured that even a rainy day could not dampen our collective joy!

🦀THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the second Harvest Family Jam event on July 20th, 2024. Once again, our event was a little wet and cloudy, but our community showed up and we had another FANTASTIC festival despite the weather!
🌟 Event Highlights:
Fresh Local Harvests: We enjoyed a bountiful selection of produce in every shade of red, white, and blue—from potatoes and tomatoes to peppers and peaches.
Signature Seafood: Families were feasting on the Chesapeake Bay’s finest blue crabs, freshly caught and perfectly steamed. We are so proud of our Seafood Booth volunteer crew!! We successfully debuted our Seafood Booth, filling orders from our Preorder Form and steaming shrimp and crabs to order until we SOLD OUT! We are beyond grateful to those of you who supported us and provided feedback. Everyone was gracious and patient, and EXTREMELY PLEASED with the quality of their orders. We are constantly perfecting our craft and are excited to serve seasonal seafood preorders with each future event!
Live Music: The live performance from Cole Coleman and friends rocked the farm throughout the day.
Artisan Vendors: Our dedicated vendors looked forward to the event and prepared with us all week to set up their unique crafts and goods. Their coordinated efforts sometimes go unseen by the average customer, but we know the hard work and preparation it takes and we appreciate you! Your passion and love shining through your products helps make our market incredible, and we want to express our sincere gratitude.
Food & Beverage Vendors: Delicious offerings from our favorite food and beverage vendors were also a huge hit! Maggie, owner of Family Traditions, served up a decadent crabcake pizza and Captain Johnnie's out of West Point came out to serve their fresh seafood options!
Once again, THANK YOU to our neighbors, family, and friends for a day of food, fun, and festivities. Celebrating the best of our local harvests with you is such a pleasure!🦀
